Coronado dive teams win championship

Coronado dive teams pose with their trophies at the Grapevine Invitational tournament on Saturday. This was the first time that both Boys and Girls teams won a championship at a meet.

The Mustang divers made history Saturday by winning not only one team diving championship, but two! Both the Girls and Boys diving teams won the team championship trophies at the Grapevine Invitational.

Leading the way were Jordan Thomas and Ty Sides. Jordan finished 2nd and Ty was 4th. Others contributing valuable points in the 11 dive contest were Lauren Mills 6th, Arienne Martinez 12th, Robert Lyons 12th. Both Laren Cook and Marcus Johnson finished 3rd in the 6 dive contest.
