On November 19^th at Texas Tech University, Coronado’s Math UIL team participated in their second meet of the year. Coronado took 3^rd place overall with their number sense and calculator scores.

In numbers sense, Matt Hansen came in 1^st in the Senior category.  Blake Lackey came in 3^rd and Kyle Wolfe came in right behind him in 4^th place. Junior Le Hoang Thui Trang came in 2^nd place in her category. Mahmud Alkul came in 3^rd place for the Sophomore category, and Cassie Webb came in 4^th in the Freshmen category.

In calculator, Wolfe came in 2^nd place of the Senior category. Hansen came in behind him in 7^th place. Nadia Tello came in 8^th in the same category. Noah Hodson came in 1^st in the Junior category and Trang came in right behind him in 2^nd. Sophomore Elizabeth Hansen came in 1^st in her category. Lastly, Webb came in 1^st in the Freshmen category.

Congratulations to our Math UIL team! We wish you good luck on your next meet, which will be at Texas Tech University on December 10^th.
