Do you have the perfect girl to ask to homecoming, but can’t think of a perfect way to ask her? Well, worry no more! This list was devised to help those deprived of clever ways to ask their girl to homecoming, and make it a night she’ll remember forever.
1. Serenade her with a song composed by the one and only, you.
2. Write the question in sidewalk chalk on her driveway.
3. Make a T-Shirt with “[insert name] Will you go to Homecoming with me?” and wear it the next time you see her.
4. Write a message in a bottle and put it in her backpack/locker for her to find.
5. Go to the nearest bakery and have them write the message on cupcakes.
6. Write little notes on Post-It notes and put them on her locker, car, front door, etc.
7. Buy her flowers and write the question on a little card, put it in the bouquet, and give it to her in class, or leave it on her front door.
8. Ask her over the school’s PA system! (With permission of course).
9. Send her on a scavenger hunt which ultimately leads to you popping the question.
10. Write her a poem (Make sure it’s not corny) and read it to her out loud.
11. Buy 10 balloons, each with a letter spelling out H-O-M-E-C-O-M-I-N-G
Or… If all else fails, just take the simple route and ask her in person, or through text. But, make sure it’s thoughtful!
Coronado High School Homecoming is October 12th against Odessa High at Lowery Field.
